Loving reading the 'inside stories' that are not possible to cover on a short phone call. The colourful swamp bridge must be one of the long straight stretches that appeared on your tracker map. The lady trying to catch up with you on her bike showed the same grit and determination that you have shown on this challenging route. Over half-way now - on the home stretch! Kia kaha.

Lindsay well written. What a story… if you wanted to write a harrowing adventure story well this trip would be great research for it.
Looking forward to the ending…….oh how many more adversities will you have to face and overcome before then.
Certainly been a great trip for building character endurance and a great can do attitude.
Once again so glad you have exposed my vulnerability to intrepid travel. I would be like the princess and the pea.
